What can I do with an old rocking chair ?

This rocking chair is no longer stable enough to sit in but I would like ideas on how to decorate it so it can still sit on my deck. It was my mother's rocker and I don't want to part with it. Thank you for any ideas.

Kathy Henry, you may be able to restabilize the rocker by taking the pieces apart, cleaning off old glue and regluing. To use as is, you might set a pot of your mother's favorite flowers on the seat and paint or drape a throw across the top of the back.
Make a plant stand out of it.
Cut a hole in the seat for a plant.
