This will be for our winter home, manufactured home. Cabinet doors are cheap wood oak stained the rest is vinyl of some sort. I've seen them painted and works out ok and see white with chia glazed and was looking for feed back.

Well,do you even want white? There are so many colors why choose white? If you are doing it to brighten kitchen then why not just paint uppers in white and bottoms in a color you love? Or you can paint them white and remove doors and showcase your color of choice by painting inside a different color. Or if you have bowls or platters or whatever in colors you love or in a metal you love showcase them. You don't have to remove all the doors just two would be great to break up the white. I guess that when I read this it doesn't sound like you even want white. I wish mine were white but hubby doesn't so compromise was done. But if I had a choice I would have gone white because it's bright and clean. Well everyone has their own taste and reasons for what they do just remember that the time and money you put in to painting them something you don't love, well you can't get that time back. And if this is your home and you aren't doing this to sell your home, then why do that? If you are doing as a means to update your home to sell it I can tell you that I'm not a fan of painted cabinets and I can't be the only one. They scream "I couldn't afford to change them out so I painted" and I would rather have just clean wood cabinets that were left alone. If I buy the home then,I would rather deal with them. Either I can choose the color of paint or I can replace doors. Anyway that's just my opinion.
