What would be a good way to elevate the foot of my bed?

You could put something between the mattess and box spring, like rolled up blanket or you can make something (only way I can explain it is that it will look like a small ramp in shape)Or you can put riders under the bottom feet (if your bed has 4 legs)Helpful Reply -

I would just buy a leg pillow. There are hundreds of them out there and not too expensive.Helpful Reply -

Just buy a few extra pillows and cases, get the firmest you can find, and stash in the closet during the day when the bed is made. They sell special "pillows" and your doctor can write you a prescription for one if you want to try that. I had to elevate my feet after my back surgeries and to this day I love reading in bed at night and still use the same pillows to elevate my feet.I looked into the adjustable beds. Would love one but far more than I can afford.Helpful Reply Unapproved! -

Either raise the end of the bed with Bed Shoes (Blocks) or use a special pillow for the end of the Bed (Wedge Shape) or just raise the end of the bed under the mattress with a pillow...........Helpful Reply -

You can buy bed wedges or you can make them out of foam which I did. I bought a 6 or 7" thick piece of foam by about 24" wide and used a really sharp knife and cut it diagonally to make 2 wedges. Then put them side by side under the mattress. I have mine at the head of the bed because I have trouble laying flat. Another suggestion is to put bed risers under the foot of your bed. They should come in sets of 4 for under $10.00.Helpful Reply -

You could put a couple of pillows under your legs. I have to do this for my bedridden Father every two hours per his nurses that come by once a week. They told me to keep changing where I put the pillows so his legs and feet don’t swell.Helpful Reply -

Depends on the style. Some you could easily change positions others would be for staying on your back. Just go online and search "leg pillows"Helpful Reply -
