Is your table bare wood, painted, stained?

if not painted use a exterior marine grade varnish

Power wash it, let dry completely. Put a wood stain on that will be for weatherproofing.

No sealer will last forever. I think you should be able to use any stain and sealer you want. Choosing one with UV inhibitors is better for a table with sun exposure, and you might need to sand the surface lightly first.

Sand lightly, stain if you want to change the color.... or use a "Teak oil" which hold us well outside.... you will probably have to reapply in the late fall to prepare for winter snow and rain... and again in spring... before spring and summer use... a good quality patio furniture cover would help with winter protection tool

Teak is highly resinous. Polyurethane or varnish will not last. Will alligator, peel, and flake off. You can use teak oil or danish oil to revitalize, moisturize, and protect the wood.
