Sliding Glass Door Hardware: Update Your Style for Under $23

3 Hours
Easy
I was so tired of seeing our worn out sliding glass door hardware. Last weekend I decided to dedicate a little bit of time and money to this project.
Our interior doors have oil rubbed bronze handles and hinges. And I wanted the sliding glass door handle to match. We could have bought a handle but I wanted to save a few bucks (more than a few bucks as it turns out!).
This is a really nice weekend project you can tackle. For more info on how to do it and some cool before & after pics click on this hyperlink http://www.homerepairtutor.com/sliding-glass-door-hardware/
Prime the sliding glass door handles before painting them
Scuff the handles before priming them, though
Here's our worn out sliding glass door handle
I used oil rubbed bronze as my topcoat
We're super pleased with the updated style of our sliding glass door hardware, and we saved over $100 with this project

I would like to know where you found a key entry lock for a sliding door?

Super Duper! Way to save $$$. I just love all of the new spray paints that are out there don't you?I have two patio chairs and a table to paint myself. I painted the chairs yellow and I don't like them so they are now going to become metallic hammered copper. Enjoy!:)
