Wood Spool Tops + Wood Coat Rack =...

A friend gave me two bar stools. They had no seats and needed lots of love. And, they needed a table to sit at. So, I created a table from two different size wood spool tops and a wood coat rack!!
I started out with a 29" Priority Wire, spool top and a 18" spool top, a coat rack and small 1/2" thick round disk I made.
I did a dry fit to make sure all these pieces would come together as a table, and sure enough, it did!
I sanded everything and stained it with "Weathered Gray" stain. I dragged a little blue paint through the top before it was dry. While waiting for all the parts to dry, I painted the small wood disk to complement the colors in my fabric. I used a variety of dark and light blue and gave it a bit of a swirl to look like water!
I drilled a 9/16" hole in the middle of the disk and attached the blue disk to the bottom (smaller) spool with screws, and then attached the coat rack to the blue disk with a long bolt. There was already a hole in the bottom of the coat rack.
next, I attached the 4 legs, (They were on the coat rack to begin with) to the base and one screw from underneath to each leg for stability.
Then I attached a deck board to the top of the base to support the table top.
I trimmed it out with blue nylon marine rope, and cut out a little round plug for the center of the table and painted it the same color as the blue disk. An there you have it!
My friend that gave me the bar stools is also a realtor. She loved this set so much, she asked if she could use to stage a home she was selling! Both the house and the Bistro set sold within hours!! Oh, below is a before picture of the stools. I sanded them down, and used the same stain. Cut out seats, cushioned and upholstered. Thanks for lookin' :)

Great job on the Bistro Table ! I am also interested in the mirror wall hanging behind the table. Is it DIY ? It's also beautiful !!
