I found a thrifty bargain and decided to turn it into a stylish piece
Although it doesn´t look attractive at all at first sight, when I looked at this rolling bar in detail, I could foresee its enormous possibilities to shine by itself! It only needed some colour and style.
Yellow is a color in fashion these days, at least in my country. So I decided to give it a modern look, imitating some geometric patterns I copied from a piece of fabric. Isolating areas with tape, I painted in two colors: yellow and black, on a white background.
After the other areas were dry, went on with the center....
And this is the result: front door ready. I didn´t take photos of the rest of the paint, but it was simply plain yellow on the whole body, leaving side shelves in wood. I also took care of the inside, which I varnished.
Here is the finished rolling bar. But I want to show you more photos of this fantastic piece:
Look at the inside! Isn´t it beautiful?
The front door opens to the front, and the upper part to the sides, giving it three alternative positions:
Now it is ready, I really love it!
And keep in mind how much only color can make for a piece of furniture!
