How To Stencil A Wall {Wallpaper Look A Like}

After scraping wallpaper off of paneling, I had a wall to make beautiful. I used bonding primer to prep the wall and then painted two coats of the main wall color. Then I used a fabulous wall stencil in a herringbone pattern. With paint sample pots color matched to some of my favorite colors, I gave the wall a fabulous, updated look. Stenciling a wall is much easier than wallpapering and it's incredibly budget friendly.
This is the final photo of the paneled wall I stenciled.

It was so fun choosing which colors to put in which spot. The pattern is uber cool.
The stencil is bendable and easy to "fudge" in awkward spots.
