2-Cups Calcium Carbonate

4-Cups Flat Latex Paint

Tips:

Mixed paint will keep in a mason jar or even a covered butter container for several days.

Stir often so that the paint does not get grainy.

This mixture works well being brushed on and can also be used in a sprayer. Works well with both

If the paint looks to thick you can also add a little water to help with consistency.

If you plan on distressing with this paint just remember it will not distress with a damp rag after it has dried like regular store bought chalk paint so use a damp rag to distress while the paint is still wet or use a sander after the paint dries. 30-60 minutes

Make sure your calcium carbonate is fine before mixing. Either put in baggie and roll with a rolling pin or sift the CC through a sifter to make fine before mixing it in paint. Once you stir CC into paint use a mixer to mix well.
