I had finished a project hand painting a coffee pod container and wanted to have a matching tea box to create a complete look. I had an old ginger snap cookie box that I thought was a cute shape. It was made of metal and I also wanted to see how the Country Chic paints held up on metal.
So I continue to use the Country Chic paints and these were the tools.
As the paint went on, it was this lovely matte finish and applied quite smoothly. It also dried fast.
Both pieces all painted.
I wanted a rustic, farmhouse look to it so I opted to hand draw a tea pot image. To draw inspiration I looked up "teapot outline tattoos" on my google search and selected one I thought would look cute next to my coffee image.
And then I painted over my pencil drawing. I also painted some lines along the ridges of the metal box. I purposefully left the lines painted rough and lacking in perfectionism, so as to keep with a country farmhouse look.
So here are the two finished projects sitting together. I think they look like they are matching pieces and help to set a cute rustic farmhouse theme for my kitchen. What are your thought?

lovely! Absolutely lovely! I read the comments above and just wanted to say...Please don't discredit yourself! You have drawing talent and there's no denying it! All you did was look at something, where a lot of people couldn't even trace it. You gave each of these pieces character and that's what an artist is all about! I just want you to take credit for it because you deserve it! We all get shy about our abilities and I understand that but let us be your judge and jury...lol! If this is something you want to do, then go for it because again you are creative!
