Best way to remove wall paper backing?

    Do you plan to paint the walls? If so, do not remove backing just simply treat seams with spackle, then use Kilz or other primer for paint on the entire surface, then paint. Did this technique on the bedroom walls in a house in TN and it came out perfect. I would bet you might find someone who's done an internet video on this technique if you do a google search.

    soak well with water and it should come off easily. Hardest part is removing the glue....use vinegar and water and scrubbies.

    Use a solution of warm water and fabric softener, wipe on walls, let soak for a few minutes then scrape/ rub the backing off
