Can I crackle and paint over a crackle finished door to change color?
I have a great pantry door that was painted umber and crackled with a coat of green paint over it. I now want to change the door color to black--but have the umber and green show thru in spots. How best to accomplish? Can I do another coat of crackle and repaint black?

Hi Carol, paint the color you want on it and crackle that so the previous colors of umber and green still show.
