Home Depot Americana Chalk paint, does it work as well as Annie Sloan
I am having a hard time finding the Annie Sloan in my area but Home Depot carries their line---and costs much less..input please..thanks.
Use a contrasting color for an obvious antiqued look, a muted umber or burnt sienna to simulate age. Apply the glaze with a clean brush. When the enamel base is dry, brush the glaze on over it, one surface at a time. For glaze retention on highlights, cover highlight areas first, then flat surfaces.
Is the glaze oil based? If not i would say no, it will most likey chip.
It should work. Try it on a test piece.
I would say yes!! I would do two coats in-between dry time. It should say on the can what you can use it on.
