Can I paint the ceramic tiles around my fireplace, so ugly.
I would like directions on how to paint this.
Yes. At home improvement stores and Walmart, you can buy a ceramic paint for bathroom sinks and tubs. There is also a kit that includes an epoxy, just for sinks and tubs. We have used the former ourselves, and had a professional use the latter on three sinks. None lasted long at all before they started peeling. But you might have better luck than we did. Best wishes ☺️
I think you can. Look on YouTube and you could probably get your paint at Lowe’s. My motto is “if it doesn’t move, paint it”.
How ugly is it ??? I've never had good luck painting anything like a sink or tub. If you have tried anything but (Comet or Ajax, etc.) cleanser or a spray for cleaner sinks than try this item. Buy from some hardware or grocery store CLR 28 oz. bottle at Lowes for $5.98. If all else fails you will probably need a new sink.
Oh YES, Home Depot sells the kit, for bathtubs also...........
We had an ugly sink in our bathroom and didn't want to go thru ripping it out. So my husband had the bright idea of covering over sink and surrounding counter tile with redwood butcher block that we had made for about $80. Including wood. Then we put a floating bowl sink in white that we got for a steal on Wayfair over the
Butcher block. We ordered new faucet. The bathroom looks so much more co temporary. Putting new faucet in was a bit tricky for us but we figured it out. So for
80 in wood, 79 sink, and faucet that I can't remember price but we got on sale. So for about 250 we have whole new look to bathroom without having to demo anything. Good luck
I don't recommend it. It is almost impossible to keep it from having streaks/ridges in it and it eventually starts peeling off.
Why is everyone talking about sink and tub??? This is about a pitcher and bowl. Yes you can paint it. Use ceramic craft paint from Michael's or Hobby Lobby. Even artist acrylic paint will work. Use a clear glaze to seal the paint and make it shine. Also available at Michael's and Hobby Lobby.
Maybe I was answering another question, instead. I’m sorry for the confusion. ☺️
Yes, read the label on paint make sure it is made for ceramic
