Now you know why people hire designers! 🖌
My Dad was a painter, having owned a few houses in his lifetime. He always suggested a neutral color like "eggshell", not bright white, not too dark, just right to shoe off furniture & accessories. You could always paint one wall a contrasting color, or do wide horizontal stripes...but after looking at the room as fully painted. Most times, we would rearrange the entire room after the fresh neutral...then you go designer!! Good luck.
Look to your closet. Yes, that sounds silly. But the colors you are most comfortable with are the colors you wear. Choose the three most prevalent colors. One will end up being the primary color to paint the walls - it's usually a neutral color - cream or light grey. I'd paint all rooms the same, then after living with it for a few months, you'll begin to see that maybe you need a focus wall of a different color or the whole room could be a different color. That's really the easiest, mistake free way way to go. Don't overthink it.
Go for Magnolia this is a color that will match any thing that you buy furniture wise also if you can afford it use a kitchen or bathroom paint its very hardy and washable and will last you for years.
