Just about anything will work with then except grey. Get pillows, a rug, another chair with a pattern and multi colored. Choose from them.
Grey goes really well with brown. Benjamin Moore has lots of grey colours that you can experiment with, good luck.
Yellow?
Hi Nicky, Brown is a neutral color and works with any other color. If you carpet or floor is brown I would go with any color you really like. If the carpet or floor has any other color in it I would go with that color. Not sure if I explained that right.
Do you mean wall colors? Cushions, drapery, etc? I have a brown leather sofa and draped a fuzzy, white fake animal skin from the top of the middle cushion to break it up. Also, I have decorative cushions with mostly red and turquoise in a variety of patterns, one being a blue jay. As for wall color, that depends upon factors like the amount of natural light you get. Whites, creams, beiges, etc., look awful on dark, north-facing walls. Hope someone can answer your question more definitively.
Lost my response 3 times! Arrrgh!
Brown is a neutral, almost anything goes with it, although brown and purple might be questionable. Do it the old fashioned way, use a color wheel!
