How do I keep from getting blisters/bubbles when I repaint my front do

I had my house painted last year, everything turned out right except for the front door. It looked great for a day then all the sudden it started getting all these blisters on it. They came and redid it, and it happened again. I called them back but they never responded, so I’m stuck with this bubble/blistered door. I live near Tampa Florida and it has been very hot. I am going to have to do it myself and am waiting for cooler weather. Obviously, the painters didn’t know how to do it, so how can I keep it from blistering again?

don't think Janice is worried about mice-get your painting contractor back and find out what he did-and didn't do-must not have primed the door and looks like he stuck you with bad paint too
Is the door wood or steel?
I would also let the painters know that this is how your door looks after a year. If they are a legitimate business, they will want to go back to your house and fix it. Also, craft stores carry paint that is specifically made for front doors, so you can always try that.
They used the wrong type paint! You'll need to remove the paint completely and use the right type . Is the door wood or metal?
Does your door face south or west? Sometimes metal doors that face south or west and get direct sunlight all day get so hot that they bubble the paint. The red paint will need to all be removed before it can be repainted. Try a lighter color but I love that red.
Looks like it was wet when painted. But the Gal above may be right too. You will need to strip it with paint stripper. Start fresh. Make sure it is Dry. Prime first. Then spray paint. Follow all directions. Take door off hinges for all this. Or brush paint on with your color. But first I would call the painter and complain. The squeaky wheel gets the grease. Don't let them off the hook. This is Unacceptable!
It looks as if it was painted with an acrylic paint over an oil based primer or paint. Unfortunately the door will need to be stripped down and redone. Make sure the primer and paint are compatible. Hopefully the painters will at least reimburse you.
You need to use DTM, Direct to Metal paint. Behr and Sherwin Williams make it. You will need to strip the bad paint job. Sand smooth, prime with Kilz primer then your color.
someone wrote that this was a year old? if so, guess you will have to do it-however, if he just did the work-I would think he would be responsible-call him every hour and tell him Better Business Bureau will be contacted-stick up for yourself don't let him get away with shoddy work
I feel for you, that is absolutely terrible. I might suggest. Call a true professional painting company. My guess is they'll have to take the door off and bring it back to their shop.
You might also contact a local autobody shop, and have them sand blast it and paint with electro-static paint job, then they cure it.
