How to remove paint from door knobs without taking off the door knob? What product would work best for this project?

take them off. Not worth the effort to do them on door because you run the risk of stripping the area around them. Put in pot of boiling water-paint on metal will slide right off. Also have heard of people soaking them in a crock pot but never tried it.

I used nail polish remover to remove paint from mine. You can try goo gone as well.

Tape around them and try a product called "Oops". It is intended to remove acrylic paint splatters and drips and comes as a liquid in a can or they have it in wipes now. Think I got mine at Home Depot. I always keep some on hand. Good luck.

Put painters tape around the knob..get some citistrip..its natural..will not harm skin or breathing it in. In fact smells good. Put it on the paint, wait a few moments and wipe off. Rinse. Oops is also good.
