Not sure you can do that without destroying the cabinet surface. Can't you just repaint?
I would use Citristrip, Tes.
I agree with Ann! Citristrip is a miracle worker when it comes to removing paint. Safe to use indoors and it works quickly.
Have you considered using a heat gun. About $8 at Harbor Freight.
Citristrip stripper. Heat gun will melt the laminate.
