MN Mom on Jan 27, 2016Is this stained glass like a stained glass window or is it glass that has paint stains? If it's glass with paint stains, you should be able to scrape it off with a razor blade. Bring the glass to room temperature and lay it on a flat surface. You could try wetting it with some layers of paper towel and white vinegar and then gently scrape with a blade. Could be quite time consuming but I've done this before to restore vintage frames and glass and it's worked well for me.Helpful Reply

Donna Varner on Jan 28, 2016If it is Plaid Glass Paint, it can be heated with a hair dryer and removed once it has warmed up. Try using a razor blade.Helpful Reply

Mary Beth Carrier on Jan 28, 2016If you can get good ventilation in the room, try oven cleaner! Namebrands generally don't work, I'm talking about the cheapest dollar store oven cleaner you can get your hands on. Leave it on until it's just about dry and you should be able to scrape it off with a plastic scraper. Rinse with plenty of water and your windows should be ready to go. Good luckHelpful Reply
