Hi ! There is a much easier way to age wood !!! First band it up a bit , using whatever you have on hand ... A hammer , or meat terrorized ... Then you can take a screwdriver and put a few scratches on the wood . I then took a small nail and using a hammer just lightly tapped it as I moved it around in a little cluster and a few spots on their own , to replicate work unless ! As for the aging , this is the easy part ! But a wood ager / accelerator made by Varathane called weathered wood accelerator !!! All you do is brush it on and let it dry , then decide if you need another coat . It dries fast and no fumes , as well as easy wash up !
