I'm looking for an accent color on the 2 smaller walls of the living room. Furniture in living room is a milk chocolate color. My kitchen is Red Wagon Red... and there is a entry way so the rooms are not open to each other.. (Other newly painted colors in the house... bathroom - sand stone color, Master bedroom, pale yellow) Any help is appreciated.

I think a rich taupe (leaning towards gray, but still having brown in it) would be a gorgeous connection to the entire pallet.

Locate the color ponytail. It is as wonderful accent color and goes good with rich browns. The color pallette is that of a warm beige.

I think a rust color would be a great color choice; its still in the warm color palette. is in the red color palette and is a different color choice. I have a rust color in my bathroom with white accents and it is very pretty. My rust color is called Falling Leaves from Home Depot's better brand. I hope this helps. Good Luck!

It would be helpful to know if the windows face south making the room warm, furniture style [modern, contemporary, traditional, any wood tones [dark, honey, gray], formal, casual? I suggest you take a photo of rm on cell and take it to Benjamin Moore on a weekday when staff isn't busy and ask for suggestions. Tape chips to wall for a few days. You can buy paint elsewhere, they can mix to the color desired.

Hi @TaniaM - I would go with Duck Egg Blue - which goes beautiful with chocolate brown. Have a look at some of these pictures to see how well they go together. But.... whatever colour you end up choosing you will need some other accents in the same colourways. Say.... your sofa/chair or something like that is in chocolate too - I know you say furniture, but this could mean like a dresser or table or whatever - but if it is your sofa - then you could choose some duck egg blue cushions or a mix of pattern of duck egg blue and chocolate together - and/or a rug in duck egg blue and chocolate. Hope this helps :) https://www.google.ie/search?q=duck+egg+blue+paint&espv=2&biw=1366&bih=643&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=sTygVKW7F6LW7AaK2oDoDg&sqi=2&ved=0CB8QsAQ#tbm=isch&q=duck+egg+and+chocolate+sitting+room

Do you have something to use as an "inspiration" piece, like a painting or pretty throw? You could use the colors in that as a jumping off point. Paint the walls one of the colors in the inspiration piece and add accents of the same (or same color family) around the room. E.g., lamp shades, vases, a book collection, throw pillows, drapes, etc.

Turqoiuse looks really pretty with brown. Or even an olive green color.
