Hello. I would suggest calling Valspar customer service one 800 line and asking for their suggestion. In the past when Iโve had problems with primers they were very helpful.

You should be able to order from their site. I tried and it shows available in about a week.
You can purchase a clear glaze at home depot of course it will not be valspar. Sherwin Williams and Benj. Moore also sell clear glaze.
Speak to the person in charge of the Varnishes and Glazes at the DIY store or Paint shop, as they should know the market.
There are a slew of clear glazes on the market whether it's at another store like Home Depot or a paint store like Benjamin Moore. Craft stores carry glazes as well. The only way to know if they're comparable is to test them out.
