How to get varnish stains off a vinyl floor?

    Try denatured alcohol or lacquer thinner - sparingly. The thinner may work best. The vinyl floor's coating should help release varnish.

    Use mineral spirits for vanish, be careful may ruim the top coat of the vinyl.

    Hi Dianna: WD40 might work Start by spraying a small amount onto the stain.

    Rub the area with a clean, soft cloth. Turn the cloth often as you are wiping. When the stain is removed, wipe again with a fresh, clean cloth. Allow the area to dry completely then wash with soap and warm water. Good luck
