How do I take a white bathroom vanity and antique it?

I have a 48 inch white bathroom vanity that I want to make it look antique. I’m replacing the counter top but will be keeping the base. I want to make it look rustic-

What is the finish that is currently on it? You might be able to add a glaze to it.

Take one of the door fronts or drawers to the paint dept. of your home improvement store and ask for their advice. They have materials you may have never considered and the know-how to do it.

Start with a light sanding to create a tooth, clean and them prime - I like XIM Bonding Primer, apply two coats. Then paint whatever color you would like as your base, allow to dry and then add a glaze - pictured below is a rustic aged look.
