Kitchen cabinets are black. What color should I use for walls & floor?

What colour are your Countertops and what is your style? Modern?

  Countertops will come later as well as floor. I guess I’m asking a impossible question. Guess I should have worded differently, like what color would you use if you Had to choose

Depending up lighting in the kitchen, I would go with something on the pale siide so that it does not become too dark and cave like. Natural lighting? Sufficient general and task lighting? What color are the countertops? Flooring? Choose something to tie them all together.
