Kitchen paint color?
What wall color goes best with black and light grey cabinets ? If not paint what type of project could I use that’s not too expensive to make a backsplash? Is there a paint that is unique that I could use instead of a backsplash?

You could stencil your backsplash using a washable paint. As for color, you could stick with a neutral - black and white, or go for a pop of color - teal, red, yellow.
Have you thought about a peel and stick tile for your backsplash? A classic marble could look fabulous with your cabinet color. :)
Hello Kori,
Choose a Bright Colour - Kingfisher Blue, Orange, Red, Lime Green etc. You can do it in a Plexiglass or tiles or Contact etc.
Hello. Here are some ideas that might be interesting to considered —- if you decide to go beyond a paint option.

Teal on the walls.
I would use a white with black and grey cabinets.
You could try a peel and stick backsplash that is significantly cheaper than tile and looks more up to date than paint! https://amzn.to/3k8EpUG
Like this one, in particular, would go well with gray and black! https://amzn.to/2MhEV6w
Black and grey are pretty neutral. I'd add some color, maybe a green?
soft coral would be my choice
There are really pretty stencils, great peel and stick tiles today, you could use contact paper, although it's a mess if you want to remove it. I've also seen bead board used.
I would go with a pop of color, depending on what you prefer.
I've done tile backsplash in a lot of houses and it looks great as well as holds up. You could go with peel & stick or contact paper or wallboard as well.
I'm planning on adding stainless steel to the area behind my sink.
White subway tile would be great. Not too expensive and looks very classy
Maybe white? I think subway tile would be nice
White with subway tiles is the way to go.
Hi Kori, I am partial to blues with my greys, turquoise medium blue and navy all look great with black and grey! You could do peel and stick backsplash in any or all of those colors
