How do I choose paint color for kitchen cabinets?
I’ve been updating my kitchen a bit. I already made a mistake with the backsplash and had to change my sink to a dark gray, which matches the grays, taupes, ivory in countertop and blends better with the backsplash. What color should I paint the cabinets? I still regret the backsplash but I have no choice but to keep it.

I'd vote for ivory. It's classic and not as trendy as grey or taupe.
There is a trend to have upper and lower cabinets a different color, but that may un-trend soon. You could do the cabinets to match the backsplash or go with an ivory. Hopefully you can make it look like you intended it to be that way.
I had a small kitchen and I put in cream color cabinets with a white glaze. They really looked good and brightened up the kitchen. I also had undercabinet lights put in. Here are a few pictures, one of them showing the glaze (a lot of people go with a dark glaze but I think that makes the cabinets look dirty).
