You are always safe with blue and gray. From navy to powder blue, and from dark gray to the lightest, these colors are soothing. Then you can use pops of your favorite colors like neon green. Orange is a popular color that can brighten a room with pillows, window sheers, throws, and in art. The best part about using a special color is that it can be changed much more easily than sofas, carpet, or wall paint. Pick a favorite color and start accessorizing. โบ๏ธ
Grey walls and white trim/ceilings/doors completely transformed our home after we moved in! The difference those two colours can make is huge, especially when you throw windows that let in a bunch of natural light in to the mix.
I think grey and sandalwood would compliment each other! The greys we used are called "Universal Grey" (Dulux), "Natural Grey" (Behr Marquee), and "Gateway Grey" (Behr Marquee). Tip: if you're looking for grey paint, make sure the word "grey" is in the name of the colour. If "grey" isn't in the name, you'll end up with something with more obvious undertones (so it'll look more brown, blue, purple, etc. than it will an actual grey).
I used modern gray (a light greige) from Sherwin Williams in our living room, and alabaster in my bedroom to lighten up our home. And then I am able to switch out the decor color on the pillows, wall decor etc, easily as I want to change the colors in my home.
