Mixing various furniture colors question

Hello, I'm trying to achieve a shabby chic, French country, farmhouse feel in my dining room. My problem is that my china cabinet and pedestal table and chairs are black. The rest of my pieces are either white, pale green or turquoise. How do I make them work together? Do I need to repaint the black furniture or can they be tied in somehow?
Shabby chic tends to be mostly pastels, but, more importantly, use what you love. I think the black would work for a farmhouse feel, you could add tablecloths, placemats, etc.

I would try finding a print that had most of the colors in your room in it. Go to the fabric store first. When you see the colors together it will help you tie things together.

I really think the black is too stark for the feel you want. Also, your white table with the blue drawers is getting lost against the white wainscoting. I would paint that the same or a slightly darker (or lighter) version of the blue drawers-or even green like your rocker. Leave the wood top on the table and paint the table and chairs white with chalk paint. Maybe lightly sanding the edges to give a worn look.
I'd actually repaint the pretty blue drawer cabinet, reversing the palette- cabinet blue, drawers white, then paint the table base and chairs that blue. Go back and distress edges of all pieces for the shabby look-
That would be gorgeous and add even more interest. I love that idea.
