I don’t use Flower pots but last summer I had a bunch of the white gallon size mayonaise containers. I also had a bunch of spray paint that I didn’t know if they were any good. I sat the mayo jars up and started spraying randomly in horizontal swipes. I had yellow, primer red, black and some spray shellac stuff. When I was done, it looked like sunset skies. I doubt if this helps but it does open the ideas up to the unusual
