Looking for reasonable, but quality sprayer for painting furniture

Any suggestions on what type of sprayer I should get to paint furniture for my side business? I want one that doesn't have much overspray and is not a complete pain to clean. (Wishful thinking?) :) I plan to use chalk paint in it, but expect that I will have to thin that paint quite a bit as it tends to get a bit thick. I would love some feedback on tried and true sprayer. Thanks in advance.

rent a sprayer from most smaller paint stores. dont buy they break often.

I don't have any suggestions, but I wanted to thank you for the giggle! We had one of those paint rollers that drew paint from the bucket to the roller. It was great for painting the ceiling, but the clean up took longer than the painting! It had a rather long hose and the paint was almost impossible to get out quickly. I kept thinking we needed to have some sort of brush hooked to a long string to pull through the hose! HA! I think the secret to using spray equipment is to have several projects to do once you get it primed! (And that roller was heavy, making it difficult to hold for a long time and impossible to take a break! We needed to have had a couple of extra guys to take turns while the others rested!)

I have different sprayers for different jobs. I was texting in my phone yesterday and didn't finish. One sprayer I use, I use with a compressor. It has a finer finish and I can use AS paint or heavier paint in it, it is a middle if the line sprayer. The second one I use is electric. Just plug it in. But this one sometimes gets stopped up. I don't use AS paint in it. Heavier paint for me doesn't work as well in it. So if I use AS or Chalk paints I thin it out. Hope that helps.

This doesn't come with every single thing. I get bigger tips for the chalk paint and I also ad a tad bit of water. They have better sprayers I know people who have spent up to $300.00 on a gun. Just for Wood is the one who suggested I get this one. I need to give them credit.' I also have one I bought form Sherwin William's. It did cost over $300.00. But honestly the other one is better and more consist. The electric one is easier to set and use quickly but I get a better from from the other one. Any questions let me know if I can help!

I bought exta tips this comes with two you need a air compressor hose, regulator, filter and two hose fittings. I also bought the stand and I use Teflon tape. Here is a link. This link helped me also set mine up. I also googled everything before I bought it. They have two different guns in this kit, they also have low and high. I use high on my furniture. I know you only use AS paint. I use all kinds off different paints with it depending on the piece I paint. I also use a mask so I don't breath the paint in. Here is another link that is very specific and helpful! Dying to see your painted pieces. My best advice is practice on pieces. I tried the Critter gun and threw it out after 1 use. Piece of junk. It got clogged up and never worked after the first time.
