Repair paint brush marks in appliance epoxy spray paint ?
Noticed these paint marks from primer after epoxy dried. Can I just spray a couple more coats of appliance epoxy over it? Do I sand first? TIA!

I would give it a light sanding to smooth out the brush marks before respraying.

I am confused by your question you ask brush marks in epoxy SPRAY paint. If you used spray paint there wouldn't be brush marks. Am I missing something?
Or do you mean that those brush marks were there before you spray painted and are just now visible?
Lightly sand with 220 grit sandpaper to smooth out the brush marks. You could also try fine grit wet and dry sandpaper. Wet the sandpaper with water and lightly sand wiping as you go along to see how smooth it gets. Keep the surface wet with a spray bottle. Auto body repair shops do this to get a smooth glass finish. Then respray the epoxy. In the future use a foam roller to apply the primer.

I would sand lightly and respray. You might have to sand again and spray again if the first go around still shows the brush marks.
Not sure what you did why would you put primer over epoxy? If you are trying to level out the brush marks on whatever the top layer is a clear polyurethane may work as it levels itself. May need a few coats.
Yes, give another light spray AFTER sanding lightly and wiping and drying with a damp cloth.
I would sand with 320-360 grit. You can find these at Ace Hardware or Amazon. 3M sells these. It will not harm the finish but gently take the marks off. Then I would spray paint the area again. I guess you took a paint brush and tried to smooth the area out. This time just let it dry naturally.
A little sanding should take the marks away before spraying. What appliance are you showing in the photo?
Thanks Cathy, I misread your post, you used appliance epoxy!
Just lightly sand it down to smoothen the brush marks, then you can proceed with respraying it.
Hi Cathy, you should be able to put another coat over it to smooth the marks out, you could lightly sand it to reduce the marks first.
Sand and then apply several light mistings of paint.
