Spray paint

by Debbie
Does anybody know if you can use spray paint with stamps? I need to decorate plastic benches at school with paw prints. I wanted to use my paw print stamp but need to use a paint for plastic that's weather proof. I want to use Krylon Fusion for Plastic, will it work. Thanks!

You can spray the paint into an old plastic container, like a cottage cheese size, then dip the stamp in the liquid paint.

Why don't you make a paw stencil? Then it will be easy to use spray paint.

I would actually use a small paint roller and a stencil. That way you can use a paint that will be good for palstic.

@Wendy Brown Thanks! I didn't even think of using a roller.

I would go for it. You can test the paw prints on the underside of the benches. If it doesn't seem to hold the paint, try cutting a firm sponge into a 3D paw print. You'll will need a thick sponge, stamp the paw print onto the sponge. It's going to take some delicate cutting around the padding imprints to cut out a layer of the unwanted space. Tiny scissors or a cutting tool (name is ____ knife). Fibro fog. Hope one of these items works for you.

Thanks Sharlene, I understand fibro fog! I could get those dried sponges at Michale's Arts and Crafts then glue it to a small block.
