To do I remove polyurethane or shlack off a wooden table??

I've sanded the top and sanded the legs, but the legs have crevices in them and I cannot get the polyurethane (or what ever it is) off! How can I chemically remove it from parts of the table that the sander can't get to? I've tried "Klean strip. Sander Deglosser" but I cannot for the life of me get it off. Thanks in advanced for your help!!

Ahhh! I know how frustrating this can be! Have you tried Citristrip yet? I used this on a detailed hutch a couple weeks ago. Just apply a THICK layer and let it sit for a bit, then use a thin heavy duty scour sponge to wipe of the Citristrip. I had great success with this. Good luck!!
