How do I choose a color for my living room?
My living room is on the east side of the house. It has two large windows but tends to get a little dark in the middle of the day. My question is, what color paint should I use in the gray family?

Celeste ... I love grays and you do have a lot to choose from. You can purchase samples and go in that direction or you can even do a slight different color on the walls to get the look you want. Good luck!
Celeste: Colors seems to change in different lights! Get some samples and live with them for a few days. The choice will be pretty clear! (I like to eliminate a color or two per day.)
...a cheap way to do it islet those paint cards, tape of number of them together -- so the color swatch is larger.
My favorite gray is Rhinestone by Sherwin Williams, it's very light and looks beautiful next to white moldings.
I prefer grays that are warmer, more with brown undertones instead of black. Grab some swatches from your local paint store and bring them home to check with your lighting at different times of the day.
Hi Celeste, grey goes with so many colors, hope this helps you out
