How would a dark blue or grey look?
A dark blue would be pretty. Yellow or pink would be fun.
You didn't state what style your house was. Traditional homes often feature a front door painted in a rich deep color, such as black, navy blue, green or dark red. Contemporary homes often have bold-colored doors, and a cottage- or farmhouse-style home may feature a front door in bright colors from nature.
There is always white but another good color would be yellow, a darker blue, or even an orange.
Red would pop, a darker blue would be safe.
You can go to houzz and search by color combos to see your favorite. You can take a photo of your house and go to a paint site like benjamin moore and experiment. Have fun
how about your favorite shade of yellow? ...or dark red? royal blue? Look at the colors in the fabric of your favorite dress,.. or wallpaper. Don't rush.... get use to the color before painting. What colors are in the inside ?
don't be afraid of the darks.
I think a darker blue than your door would make it pop!
I would go with a bold yellow.
Thanks!
Wonderful! Go for it!
Navy or maroon / dark red.
