What is the best type of paint to use on vinyal plastic material?

  Hi Janet, What I would like to paint on is plastic material that is used for outside patio table covers that can be washed off with a wet cloth or a hose. I would like to find out about a paint that would work on that type of material. I do not think an acrylic would work because maybe it would tend of chip off. Are you aware of any type of paint that would work. Than you for getting back to me Carole Nelson

Depending on what it is - I have used spray paint for plastic on outdoor plastic furniture.
