I am wanting to pick a light grey paint that will go with 1 of the colors in my granite counter top. A weird shade of green.

Go to the green shades in the paint colors and slide down to the greys within that color family. Those will be the greys with green in them. To get a light grey add white until you get your shade. This is a process so start with small amounts of paint!

I love using the Valspar color chart on the computer. You can even upload a picture and then see the different choices in colors that you have. Other than that I would bring home a ton of color samples and then narrow it down to maybe your 3 top choices. Get color samples, paint each one on a separate piece of wood or dryboard and see how you feel about them.

Your best solution is to take several different paint charts home and look in all different light.morning, afternoon and evening.Once you think the color is correct buy a sample and test it out in your lighting. What will look like one color in the store will not look the same in your home.Been there and done that to many times
