I've always used a wallpaper steamer. You can get one at Walmart or Lowe's! You will also need a plastic scraper. You don't want to use a metal scraper because it can gouge the drywall. Hope this helps!

I don't know how expensive a steamer is as I have never priced or used one but i always used a wallpaper scorer ( you can get one at Walmart, Lowes,Etc) then after scoring I sprayed it REAL good with wallpaper remover waited a little bit and then used a scraper(plastic or metal either works fine) and scraped it right off.

There are products to buy that diluted with water and sponged on to paper will release the glue and enable peeling.
