What's the best color to paint kitchen cabinets

not white or black. I've had both. .both have been problematic. the white shows just about every finger print and grease mark. the black showed all the white lint and gravel dust. color on walls and cabinets can change according what type of light is used in the room.

Paint it purple if that is your favorite color. Don't go with the trends. Be different and do what you like. Years ago when I lived in a townhouse, I painted the walls white and all the cabinet doors, refrigerator, and indented areas of my exit door red. Quite a contrast, but I got lots and lots of compliments.

I agree with the posts that say to choose your favorite, but my personal favorite is an espresso color. It's very neutral and allows virtually any decor colors to be brought in. This color works well with lighter counters

Classic white, if you are flipping or straight selling a house. But if you are going to live with it, paint them the color that will make you smile every time you enter the room. ☺️
