A 3/8" paint roller for latex paint. Buy the best you can afford. Don't buy the cheap multi-pack ones.

The nap is the biggest concern. I would highly recommend a roller handle that is cushioned. I love one that extends 2 feet or retracts, from Home Depot. Another tip: take a lint roller and run over the paint roller until it doesn't have anymore lint on it. It will save you a lot of fuzz & heartache.

I always buy purdy brand. They're not fuzzy, so they don't ruin your paint job.
