what does your realtor suggest
Currently grays are consider the neutral color of choice.
Light neutral colors. A light beige works well.
Declutter, put personal things in storage, put any furniture in storage that isn't needed, keep everything clean. When showing your home, turn on every light, put everything away, make sure the house is clean, open all window coverings as far a you can. An hour before the showing, bake some cookies or a pie.
Good luck.
I would use something more neutral, white makes the rooms brighter and look larger, but a light creamy color or lighter grey would be nice if the house is bright already. I would leave out statement walls, let them decide on doing something like that themselves, it could turn off some buyers. Our back room that is now a library and plant sanctuary was bright yellow and my son almost didn't buy it because it absolutely stood out like a sore thumb. Needless to say, it was painted before anything was even brought into the house.
Make it appear youโve plenty of storage. Take the winter stuff out of your closet if necessary and put it in your trunk.
. Cinnamon simmering on the stove briefly works too for non-bakers.

Most buyers prefer the lighter colors. If they want to repaint it will be much easier for them to do so. Light greys, beiges, white.
