Gloss shower floor tile can be painted. However, you can obtain better results through painting tile in more low-moisture areas of your bathroom, like the backsplash over the sink and tile behind the toilet.
I agree with Adrienne. It can be done, but I'm not sure how well it will hold up.
Hello. Painting shower tile surrounds seem to be very popular in the actual non-submersible areas.
This link could offer some additional information that might be helpful. I would suggest calling the product manufacturer of your choice before purchase to be sure it can hold up in an area that has more water threat than a splash area only.

Not sure why you would have a gloss shower floor tile in the first place. Seems it would be terribly slippery in a wet area. You can paint tile and would NOT go with gloss again. Check at the paint counter for the right purchase, perhaps a marine paint.

Are you referring to glass tiles in a shower floor, or tiles that have a glossy finish?
I suppose you could with the right paint but you will need to make it not slippery to with decals or strips of rubber
Hi Marlene, hope this helps you out,

Yes it can be done with a good epoxy paint, but it will not last very long.
Hi Marlene, you can paint glossy tiles but I don't think it will be completely water resistant in a shower and will start peel over time
Most likely it will not hold up. After the first shower and all that work, you'll likely see the paint bubbling and peeling. You can try using a tub paint repair kit but in such a high water situation, it won't last long.
