Can I use chalk paint on my Hostess Heated cabinet?

My Hostess Trolly cupboard is constructed of metal, it is a boring brown imitation wood efect. I would love to paint the outside with chalk paint.
I would use paint made especially for metals. Make sure you prep well.
Use a paint made for metal. Most of the ones today have a paint and primer in one.
