Can I use metal paint on a baking pan?
No I'm not using it for cooking purposes. I'm working on a project and needed a metal pan the only thing I could find in the needed size was a shiny metal pan. I would like to make it black or a darker color, need something that will hold up to wear and tear.

Can I paint the metal around my mirror closet slider doors?
I have two large panes of mirror with yellow metal frames which I hate. Can this metal be painted or colored in some way?
Sure can. Rustoleum 2X spray paint is great. I would scuff it up a bit with a green kitchen scrubby just to remove the shine.

You should be able to do that . I would scuff the pan with sandpaper or use a primer on it , before spray painting it . I would use a few light coats of spray paint , the 2 light coats of clear coat. To protect it . Good luck !
