Most glass is painted on the back and then installed. However, there is paint made specifically for glass and it is translucent.Glass tile can be painted, but be sure it is super clean and grease free. Clean well and then use rubbing alcohol to degrease. -

thanks - I was researching and found those glass pen color markers at the craft/office depot stores. I will check at HD or Lowes to see if I can find the glass paint. Thanks so much for your response.
