This is a very small bedroom and it has way too much wood. And, it's a lot more beat up and stained than it appears...
You'll want to use a stain-blocking primer before painting. The pine has a lot of knots that will 'bleed through' the paint.
I would would whitewash the ceiling but leave the walls untounched you don't want the entire space to look sterile with too much white.
