How do I paint a real crystal glass door window?
I have clear crystal glass with leading that I don't want to cover in my front door. I purchased Folkart multi-surface satin finish acrylic paints to do the job. Some have added Mod Podge which confuses me. Beside thinning the paint, does that make for better adhesion? Faster drying? Do I need to do this at all seeing the paint is for glass?

Hi. That's a very expensive door. I suggest you sell the door and get one that suits your needs better. Painting crystal destroys its refracting capabilities. Paints specifically designed for glass does not need anything added to it.
Mod Podge thins the paint and adds a little texture. Mod Podge dries clear. Makes it look like stained glass. You can also use stain glass craft paints.

Why would you want to do that? Is it a privacy issue? Think long and hard before you do this.
