How do I paint my oak table kitchen tap?

Hi Marretta - to paint a wooden table top, you will want to sand it, wipe down all of the dust so it is clean, apply the paint or stain of your choice, and then apply a clear coat like polyeurathane. It sounds like a lot of steps but is really a simple project! Good luck!!

Sand it , wipe it down well so there is no dust. Let it dry. Try chalk paint , it comes in lots of colors , goes on easy , and goes a long way. Then finish it with a sealing was , not sticky or tacky when it dries.

A pretty easy make over, that should only take a couple of hours, including drying time. Both the paint & was dry fast !

You could always chalk paint it! We chalked painted our dining room chairs and they have held up great! No sanding or prep work needed, just clean it and dry it really well.
